The JP95 John Petrucci Cry Baby Wah is the result of the legendary prog metal shredder's long-term pursuit of a perfect wah sound. For years, John Petrucci had his Cry Baby Rack Wah system, tweaking and tuning his sound and its numerous parameters until he found the sound that had all the expression and intensity he needed. Recently, he and Dream Theatre Engineer Richard Chycki worked with the Cry Baby design team to replicate this sound in a single pedal. This is the wah that, as John puts it, #huge and badass like an angry, screeching monster # sounds and #perfect for single notes or roaring, hard chords #. The JP95 comes from the factory with John's personal settings and contains exactly the internal controls that he used to find his Cry Baby sound: volume to add gain; Q to shape the width of the wah effect and a 6-band EQ that can shape the sound of the wah sound from 100Hz to 3.2 kHz.
